If you missed it last week, there was a news story coming out of Tyler, Texas where a woman got pulled over by a black Tahoe with red and blue flashing lights on top. She thought she was getting pulled over by a cop, but the man who got out of the car wasn't dressed like a cop would be. He had a beard and wore flannel. If you missed the story check it out in the link below.

As a woman who lives on her own, I find this insanely creepy and nightmare-ish. I wouldn't know what to do if that happened to me. I would like to think that I would be brave and drive off as soon as I saw that it wasn't a uniformed officer walking to my car, but I really don't know what I would do. I have always been told to listen to a police officer and do exactly what they say. Letting someone have that authority over you takes a lot of trust... That trust could easily be ruined by people like the guy from the news story in Tyler.

In an ideal world I wouldn't have to worry about something like this. However, our world is flawed and that is okay. Knowing what to do and being informed is important- especially with situations like this.

This morning during The Morning Madhouse we asked the listeners what they would do, and we had Corporal Angie Willhite from the Shreveport Police Department call in to tell us what exactly we should do. Take a listen to the video below to hear what she had to say.
