What Kind of Restaurant Does Shreveport Need Most?
Shreveport-Bossier Is Losing Restaurants at an Alarming Rate.
It seems like every week we see another restaurant announce they are closing. It's truly heartbreaking. Shreveport-Bossier isn't in short supply of amazing eateries and there is always room for more. One thing that always catches my attention is when a restaurant building is being revamped or remodeled.
Remember When We Were So Excited About the Old Ryan's on Airline?
It is now a delicious Mexican restaurant called Pedro's. The truth is that a wish list actually works for us here in Shreveport-Bossier. Remember when we begged for a Torchy's? Remember when we asked for a Dilla's in Bossier? Now we can enjoy Torchy's and Dilla's because we asked for them.
When is the last time you ate at Pappadeux? It truly is one of my favorite places, I also love flying out of DFW Airport because they have a Pappadeaux there as well, don't you think a place like this could really do well here? I can't have a meal out of town without wondering why a place like that isn't open in Shreveport.
Before you suggest a Mexican restaurant, just remember there are way too many in Shreveport-Bossier already.
