We've all seen Rainbows and many of us Double Rainbows but have you ever seen a White Rainbow? Thats exactly what the people of Scotland saw this week!

Rainbows are caused by a reflection of light through water droplets after a storm which shines all the colors across the sky. What was seen in Scotland was the rarest of all Rainbows and personally I never knew existed.

A White Rainbow is called a Fogbow since it's found because of the fog. The fogbow's lack of colors is because of the smaller water drops they're so small that the wavelength of light doesn't shine through.
