Why Bossier Residents Are Eating at Chick-fil-A on Friday
If You Frequently Visit the Bossier Chick-fil-A There is a Friendly Face That You are Used to Seeing.
Kayla has a way of making you feel special, is it because she remembers your order or because her smile is never in short supply? Have you noticed that Kayla hasn't been at work lately? It is a miracle that Kayla is still alive.
Kayla Was Involved in a Terrible Car Accident on I-220 on May 12th.
Kayla suffered severe injuries to her ankle and leg, along with the amputation of part of her right arm. According to the team at Chick-fil-A in Bossier Kayla is in good spirits but the road to recovery will be long.
The team at her store had planned to put together a big fundraiser at the Bossier store. We had been waiting for an update and got one late Thursday. Chick-fil-A in Bossier took to their Facebook and said, "Tomorrow, June 14th, a portion of all sales for the day will be donated towards our team member, Kayla's recovery and medical after suffering from a severe car accident in May. We appreciate your support and hope to see you tomorrow!"
"Kayla has had multiple surgeries and it is a miracle that she is still with us today. She has a long journey ahead of her and would greatly benefit from your support."
Two Bossier Restaurants Have Already Stepped in to Help in Fundraising Efforts.
Both Flying Heart Brewery & Pub and Fuzzy's Taco hosted dinners that would donate a portion of their sales to Kayla's recovery fund. If you have not made plans for dinner on Friday. June 14th, consider eating at Chick-fil-A today.
