Woman Takes a Picture of Christmas Lights, Accidentally Captures Much More

This is one of the coolest stories I've seen in a long long time.

Joy Son of Minneapolis stumbled upon some downright gorgeous scenery in St. Paul. She just knew she had to take a picture of the stunning Christmas decorations.

After taking a photo she realized that there happened to be a proposal taking place right in front of her. She quickly tried to take a picture of the proposal as well, but was just too late and got a picture of them after they stood up.

Son was bummed that she didn't get a picture of the lovebirds, so she went out to eat as she had planned.

While at the restaurant, she decided to look through the pictures to make sure she at least captured a photo of the Christmas decorations. She was quickly amazed.

Not only did she capture the stunning view of beautiful Christmas lights wrapped around the treetops, but she also captured the couple below just as the man dropped to one knee.

It may possibly be the most amazing engagement photo ever taken, and it was totally an accident! Son then posted the photo on Instagram with hopes of finding the engaged couple.

Sho 'nuff social media got the job done! Stephanie Yarian, 22, is from Colorado but attends the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, where she met her fiance Luke.

Stephanie has this to say about the photo...

My name is Stephanie and I have been seeing my picture of my proposal from last night all over! Just wanted to get in contact and let you know that my fiance, Luke, and I got engaged and are sooo excited this moment was captured!
