Would You Like Daylight Saving Time Year-Round in Louisiana?
Personally, if I had it my way, we would never switch the clocks back again.
Today was the most amazing day. I worked during most of the afternoon, then went to the golf course with some buddies around 5:00 PM. It was a beautiful day in Shreveport, and the icing on the cake was that we golfed a full round, never rushed by the decreasing sunlight.
This is how it should be year-round.
Luckily, I'm not the only one who things so.
Louisiana Republican Dodie Horton, from Haughton, is fighting the good fight for Daylight Saving Time. She has introduced a house bill calling for DST to run year-round in Louisiana.
It's not out of the realm of possibilities either, especially considering three other states have already passed similar legislation.
