Multiple reports are out early this morning that WWE Superstar Rich Swann was arrested overnight in Florida on charges of Battery and False Imprisonment/Kidnapping. According to the Alchua County Sheriff's Office, Swann was booked just after midnight on a count of First Degree Battery, and one count of 3rd degree Kidnapping/False Imprisonment of an Adult.

There has been no official word from WWE on the matter, but as of this writing, the arrest in only a few hours old, and it's more than fair to give WWE time to process the situation, and get their facts together.

A few years ago, a Superstar named Adam Rose was arrested on Domestic Battery charges (which were later dropped) and was immediately suspended from the WWE. However it must be pointed out that Rose (real name Ray Leppan) had already failed a WWE drug test (though he had a doctor's note for his medication) and this was a "strike three" of sorts with WWE.

But with all of the questionables in the Adam Rose story, the point is unless WWE already feels like they have baggage with Swann, he may get a short suspension without a release, as long as the charges turn out to be from an even that isn't as serious as it currently sounds.
