Your Christmas Movie List For 2019

I don’t watch tv a whole lot. But, this time of year I make an exception.  If I had time to watch every holiday movie I would.  What is it about Christmas movies that make us so happy?  There’s nothing like cuddling on the sofa with a cozy blanket and a cup of hot cocoa and watching Elf or It’s A Wonderful Life. Between cable, Netflix, and the theaters, I have your Christmas movie list for 2019. Lifetime and Hallmark have really ramped up their holiday movie selection.  This year, Lifetime’s 24/7 Christmas schedule is called “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime”.  Hallmark has so many Christmas movies it had to use two channels which are Hallmark and its sister channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.  Hallmark is featuring 40 new Christmas films.

Although, it’s tempting to cozy up at home and watch Netflix, it’s always a treat to head to the movie theater and watch the big screen.  Several families actually make it a tradition and if that’s the case for you, there are some great Christmas movies coming out this year. In the cinema you’ll catch a little bit of everything from remakes like Little Women, children’s movies like Frozen II, and even a horror film too, Black Christmas.

I will give you a list of new Christmas movies set to hit the theaters this December and a list of some new holiday movies on Netflix and cable. I’ll even throw in a list of my Christmas classic favorites just in case anyone forgot about them through the sea of new ones.
