Who are the best artists to ever perform in Shreveport-Bossier City, LA?

Obviously, this list is subjective, however, we opened the question up to you on social media by asking, 'What's the best concert you've seen here in the Shreveport-Bossier City area?' Y'all seriously flooded the comments section and we got a ton of messages through our station's free app, too. While we've seen some amazing artists here in our area, our top ten kept popping up over and over again and we'll explore those below. However, there were a ton of honorable mentions!

Now that you've seen the post and your comments, you can tell we've had the opportunity to see some incredible acts in our area. I also noted from the responses that we have a lot of rockers in our area. Aerosmith came up several times alongside other acts like Motley Crue, Journey, 3 Doors Down, Foo Fighters, Def Leppard, etc... I also dug how many Christian acts were mentioned like Louisiana's own Lauren Daigle and For King and Country. Speaking of country, it certainly made the cut for Shreveport-Bossier, with artists like George Straight and Jason Aldean to name a few getting mentions.

So, what say you? Did we get it right? Check out the top ten and then shoot me a message using our free app or send an email to erin.bristol@townsquaremedia.com.

Legendary Musicians Who Rocked The Hirsch In Shreveport

Here's a sample of the legendary musical acts who have played Shreveport's Memorial Coliseum over the last 60 years. The Hirsch was basically the homefield for bands like Van Halen and ZZ Top, who regularly put the Hirsch near the top of their tours. For that reason, we're actually not going to feature them on this list, because they were basically "house bands" for Shreveport...and that's NOT a bad thing.
