Adam Levine Calls Out MTV For Hosting A Music Award Show

The VMA’s was the place to be last night, but one star made a statement by not attending. Adam Levine of The Voice and Maroon 5 refused to attend and instead started a twitter war with MTV. He tweeted, ‘The VMAs are the one day a year when MTV pretends to still care about music. I'm drawing a line in the sand. Screw you, VMAs.’  MTV followed up his tweet by saying, ‘So, you’ll be tuning in, right? And bonus points if you TwitPic your 2004 Moonman!’ Adam responded that although he is a pop singer, the angsty teenager in him just blurts out some raw honesty. But here’s some more raw honesty, Adam and Maroon 5 was not up for any awards this year.
