Amanda Bynes Arrested For DUI

Amanda Bynes has hit a major bump on her road to sobriety.

The actress was arrested at 3 a.m. Sunday for misdemeanor DUI, the California Highway Patrol tells E! News. She was held at the Van Nuys, CA, station on $15,000 bail before she was released later that day.

Officials say that Bynes stopped for a red light but stopped in the middle of the intersection of Van Nuys Boulevard and Riverside Drive. She was then pulled over and "given a series of field sobriety tests, which she was unable to complete." She was later given a drug evaluation test which determined that she was under the influence of an undetermined substance.

She is due in court Oct. 23.
