And Shreveport-Bossier’s Favorite Starburst Flavor Is…

Voting was fierce, but we have a flavor who emerged victorious!

Last week, I posted on Facebook that my day was doomed because I revealed a double-yellow in my mini pack of Starburst. To me, this is like getting a bad fortune. I proceeded with the rest of my day in supreme caution.

However, Facebook was quick to tell me that I was wrong.

Many were outraged that I would say yellow, or lemon, is the worst flavor of Starburst. So, we put it to a vote and allowed you, the people of Shreveport-Bossier, the opportunity to determine a winning flavor. The favorite flavor of Shreveport-Bossier.

The results are as follows...

4. Orange - 5%

It was actually pretty difficult to find someone who liked the orange-flavored Starburst. There were not a lot of votes for this guy. Turns out getting a double-orange in your mini pack is the worst thing that can happen to you.

3. Lemon - 9%

While lemon did not come in last place, like I thought it would, it didn't win this vote. There are definitely more people out there who like lemon than I thought. However, second worst is still pretty much a losing position.

2. Cherry - 27%

Cherry had a strong showing in our poll. This is actually my favorite flavor of Starburst. I think it's the juiciest and most full of flavor however, as Ricky Bobby said... "If you're not first, you're last." So Cherry loses too.

1. Strawberry - 59%

And that leaves, strawberry... the pink Starburst. Pink will forever reign supreme on its little pink throne for all of the other flavors to hate on. I didn't see this one coming. I honestly didn't. But the people of Shreveport-Bossier have spoken.
