The Big Bang Theory is one of the most successful sit-coms ever made.  It has been on for 10 seasons, and lots of shows (even good ones) never make it to 3.  If you haven't seen it, make sure you check it out as soon as you become acquainted with the fabulous invention we call the "Television."

With rumors floating around that this could be the last season, show runners are looking for a replacement for this money making giant solely comprised of nerd jokes and science puns.  That show has been found, and will serve as replacement in the lineup and still give addicted viewers their weekly dose of Sheldon.

The Longview News Journal reports that a prequel series has been developed about the aforementioned super-geek Sheldon's life as a super sassy super genius child hood in what insiders are calling the "prequel" to BBT.   What makes this even cooler for fans of the show that live in the Ark-La-Tex, the role of young Sheldon's older brother has been cast - and it's one of our own!  Montana Jordan from Ore City first made a splash in a Josh Brolin independent film when he was in the 1st grade.  Now he has been named in the spinoff to America's #1 sitcom.

Laurie Metcalf will be reprising her role as Dr. Cooper's Mother.  The show will be in production this summer, and you can expect to see it on CBS at the end of the year.
