I was born in the small east Texas town of Palestine and, since my dad was in sales, we moved a few times and I grew up in different spots across the south. We moved here - Bey Street, Shady Grove, Bossier City - when I was a freshman in high school and I graduated from Jesuit, now Loyola. After a couple of years of college at LSUS I got my first radio job (it was indoors and I didn't have to carry stuff), which eventually led to morning shows in cities including Philadelphia, Cleveland and Orlando. I moved back to Shreveport in 1996, teaming with Erin McCarty, debuting the morning show on "The Big Dog 94.5". In '03 we moved two doors down the hall to 96.5 KVKI, then after a decade, one more studio over and 6 til 9am on NewsRadio 710 KEEL. Not to give away my age, but I'll turn 100 in the year 2052, or as I like to think of it, about five years before I retire.
