For those who have watched The Bachelorette religiously, what we saw last night was far from what we expect out of the show.

The Bachelorette was... weird last night. I honestly didn't feel that I was watching a woman trying to find love. I more felt that I was watching a reality show on Bravo with plenty of producer input.

The episode started off with Kaitlyn addressing Clint's behavior and why all of the men dislike him. He got super defensive so she decided to send him home, but not before she paraded him in front of all of the other guys and announced his departure. From there, it got weird.

JJ, who is Clint's BFF and possible man friend, call Clint out and told him to apologize to the group for wasting their time and emotion. He TOTALLY threw him under the bus. After the two proceeded to fight in the corner repeatedly saying "I told you things I have never told anyone in my life" the evening continued sans Clint.

Kaitlyn was way too emotional to hold a rose ceremony, so instead they all raised a glass to their pending trip to NYC. Then, against all odds, it got even weirder. She made all the guys on the first group date participate in a rap battle. They all sucked (sorry, truth hurts). They Nick showed up.

record scratch...

Yeah, you remember creepy Nick from Andi's season? The one she supposedly slept with? The one who had the crazy eyes? THAT. NICK. He heard she was going to be in NYC at this rap battle (thanks Chris Harrison for the tip) and decided he just had to meet her. The two apparently had texted after she was booted off Chris' season, but amazingly he never made a gigantic move like flying across the country to meet her until she was the Bachelorette.

So Kaitlyn proceeds to have this big, long, 30-minutes-of-the-episode, debate of whether or not to let Nick stay (which she eventually does).

And for the rest of the episode, my eyes were glazed over so I don't really know what happened, except poor Jared had to go on a one-on-one date and talk about Nick. Which sucks. In the end, we were left with another cliff hanger of Nick walking into the hotel room where all of the boys are staying.

Oh, Chris Harrison, you really know how to leave us salivating.
