Before You See Beauty And The Beast, See How Terminator And Hellboy Made It Better

If you're looking forward to the March 17th release of Disney's live action Beauty And The Beast, you are not alone.  Everyone loved that movie the first time it came around, and this one looks about a hundred times better.

What you may not know, is that this is not the first time this story has been the subject of pop culture.  If you haven't seen the Beauty And The Beast television series, you are missing out!  The year was 1987.  Ron Perlman (who you may know as Hellboy or Clay from Sons Of Anarchy) and Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor of Terminator) had quite the inter-species love affair.

It hasn't aged well, but if you really want to appreciate Hermione Granger's (Emma Watson) turn as Belle - see this first.  Just remember, it's Hellboy under all of that sensitivity and that lady's only hiding out in the sewer because this guy is looking for her.
