Big Bird, I Mean, Miley Cyrus, Flaming Lips Perform Beatles’ Hit

Anyone else feel completely uncomfortable during this whole performance?

Miley Cyrus and the Flaming Lips performed their version of the Beatles' hit "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" on the Billboard Music Awards.

I get what they were going for... I really do. A retro hippie look indicative of the fans who first loved the song. But...

This barefoot performance looked more like Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch came to life and fell into some body paint and glitter.
