“Dark Knight” Star Visits Shooting Victims

Christian Bale, star of the “Dark Knight” trilogy, paid a visit to victims of the shootings that took place at a Colorado theater.

Carey Rottman, one of the victims injured, posted pictures of himself with Bale on his personal Facebook page. Hospital employees also posted a picture of the actor with several staff members.

Bale later visited a makeshift memorial to the victims near the theater. People there either didn’t recognize the actor or just left him alone.

A spokeswoman for Warner Bros., “The Dark Knight Rises”‘ studio, told The Denver Post that Bale was representing himself, not the studio.
