Elderly Couple Reunited After Living In Two Separate Nursing Homes [VIDEO]

Wolfram and Anita Gottschalk have been married for 62 years. They exemplify true love and lasting marriage, but unfortunately, nearly a year ago they were separated against their wishes.

Wolfram suffers from dementia, so he had to be moved to a separate nursing home where they could give him the level of care required. So for nine months, the two longtime lovebirds had to find a way to live life without each other on a daily basis.

That in itself is heartbreaking. Their granddaughter posted a picture of the two crying together while they visited each other at a transition house. They didn't get to spend much time with each other that day, and were quickly separated again.

The picture, however, immediately went viral and went to work on reuniting these two for good.

The Canadian government quickly went to work on finding a nursing home where the two can live together for their remaining years. Last week, they were officially reunited and we have the tear-jerking video to prove it.
