Despite her success as a Division 1 Women's Basketball Coach, Kim Mulkey has never forgotten her Louisiana roots.

The options we have to help out south Louisiana are many. This is both a good thing and a terrible thing at the same time. On one hand we can help in many ways however, on the other hand we are seeing just how much of our state has been damages because of this flood. Another big name is stepping up to help out in flood relief efforts in her hometown.

Kim Mulkey is donating $35,000 in school supplies to Hammond, Louisiana.

Mulkey teamed up with HEB and Averitt Express to make the delivery, which is scheduled to be delivered on Saturday. Look at how big this truck is!

Kim Mulkey played basketball at Louisiana Tech where she won a National Championship. She then became an assistant coach with the Lady Techsters and again won a National Championship. She is now the head coach of the Women's Basketball team at Baylor University in Waco, Texas where she has turned that program into one of the most elite in the country. Oh, and she's won a National Championship there too. She is the only person in NCAA history to have won a National Championship as a player, assistant coach and head coach.
