R&B star Frank Ocean has temporarily lost his drivers' license and faces charges of marijuana possession after police say he was pulled over twice in California for speeding.

The singer was first stopped Dec. 30 as he was headed north on U.S. 395 and cited for doing 90 in 65 mph zone. He was then pulled over the following afternoon driving south on the same highway at about the same speed when, according to sheriff's spokeswoman Jennifer Hansen, a deputy noticed a strong odor of marijuana as he appoached Ocean's black BMW.

Ocean was then cited for marijuana possession after the deputy found a small quantity of pot on his person.

No comment yet from Ocean's reps.
