By now, we're all getting used to the news that things are getting cancelled.  I know that the world is slowly and cautiously emerging from the Coronavirus pandemic shut-down, but quite a few of us have written off pretty much everything in the near future.  Maybe we're wrong, but I'd rather be pleasantly surprised with news that I'll actually get to do something than disappointed repeatedly.

That being said, I think that we have done a pretty good job of adapting and overcoming.  For example, graduation ceremonies on the whole aren't happening - but we are hosting a 2020 Senior Spotlight here at K945.  It's not the same as walking across the stage in front of family and friends - but it is a fantastic way to recognize their hard work.  If you know a senior that is graduating - get us their info and we'd love to include them!

There's also a "fix" for prom!  This Friday, St. Jude's Children's Hospital is teaming up with Zach Sang for Prom From Home.  This socially-distanced soirée is set for Friday at 6 pm, and promises an incredible line-up.  Lauv, Kane Brown, Bazzi, Lewis Capaldi, Noah Cyrus, Max, and more will provide the sounds for your private prom experience (your parents will be playing the role of chaperone - so, no funny stuff).

Now, all you have to do is decorate your living room (I'm thinking "Under the Sea," for the theme) and follow this link.  The experience is free for everyone, but donations to St. Jude's are encouraged.  In fact, the first 2,500 attendees that raise $400 or more for the children's hospital get VIP access before the festivities start which features a surprise guest(s).
