Rapper 50 Cent is working on a fitness book and food guide set for release in early 2013.

Fiddy says he’s writing the book to help people “make positive changes and take charge of their overall health.”

The book, entitled “Formula 50: A 6-Week Total Body Transformation Plan,” will push metabolic resistance training as the key to getting in shape and will aslo include a nutrition guide.

This is only Fiddy’s latest venture into book publishing. Previous books include the teen novel “Playground” and “Pieces to Weight: The 50th Law”.
