Got A DWI? Just Tweet the President and Ask For A Pardon Like Amanda Bynes

Amanda Bynes has been charged with a DUI but that doesn’t necessarily mean that she’s guilty.. Or at least that’s what she still claims.

She was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after she sideswiped a police car and attempted to flee the scene. She’s been pretty adamant the whole time that she doesn’t drink, despite the fact that she continued frequenting the bars and clubs just as soon as she was freed from jail.

The D.A. is seeking a harsher sentence since she refused to take a breathalyzer or a blood test. If convicted, she could get a maximum of six months in jail but she would likely only serve hours due to overcrowding.

But Amanda is still claiming her innocence and she even asked someone pretty high up for help. She tweeted the President, saying, ‘Hey Barack Obama.. I don’t drink. Please fire the cop who arrested me. I also don’t hit and run. The end.’
