History Teacher Stomps American Flag During Lesson
A high school history teacher at Massey Hill Classical High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina is taking heat for stomping on an American flag. According to parents and students the teacher, Lee Francis, stomped on the American flag while teaching a lesson on the First Amendment. Students say he then asked the class if any students had scissors or a lighter. At that point many students walked out of the classroom and one student picked the flag up off the floor.
So far the school has stood behind the teacher saying while there is probably a better way to teach the lesson, Francis was attempting to teach a lesson about the First Amendment that the students would remember!
