The war of words between Nicki Minaj and Powerhouse hip-hop radio station Hot 97 is only getting started.

It all began when Hot 97 jock Peter Rosenberg made some disparaging remarks about Nicki's latest single "Starships" at the station's Summer Jam concert, telling the crowd, "I know there are some chicks in here waiting to sing along with 'Starships' later. I'm not talking to y'all now. F--- that bulls---. I'm here to talk about real hip-hop s---." As a result, Lil Wayne pulled his entire Young Money roster, including headliner Minaj, off the show's lineup at the last minute.

Rosenberg came at Minaj again a couple of days later, calling "Starships" "girly-ass dance-pop".

Minaj later called in to Funkmaster Flex's show to explain her reasons for dropping out of the show when Rosenberg chimed in yet again, saying, "That's why music is so mediocre nowadays, because no one can give opinions. If you give an opinion, cats hate you, their crew skips your concert, they dis you on twitter, their boyfriends threaten to punch you in the face."

He then added, "Regardless of whether the time was good or not, the fact that she then pulled out and Young Money pulled out, means I will never apologize for that. Never."

We definitely haven't heard the last of this skirmish.
