Jessica Simpson Wears Blue Snakeskin Dress to Baby Shower

Jessica Simpson is a slave to fashion. Even though the singer is due to give birth to her first child in a few weeks, she still wears heels and incredibly fashionable attire. Case in point: her baby shower. Simpson’s friends and family threw her a baby shower in Culver City, Calif. on Sunday (March 18) and the about-to-pop singer/actress (and ‘Fashion Star’ mentor) was wrapped in a blue, snakesin dress, looking fab as usual depite her belly being massive.

Simpson is not about to forego style just because she is heavily pregnant with a daughter, which she revealed in ELLE earlier this month.

Lil’ sis Ashlee toted her son Bronx, 3, to the fete, while Jessica Alba, a hot mama of two young daughters, was also in attendance.

A source told Us Weekly that the mother-to-be “seemed completely ecstatic.” Don’t forget fashionable!

Then again, you can’t be on a national show called ‘Fashion Star’ and run your own clothing empire, featuring shoes, handbags and clothes, and let yourself get slovenly during late-stage pregnancy.

So we understand that Simpson is protecting her brand and her image. Plus, she looks terrific!
