While a war between Taylor Swift and Kanye West seems to have picked back up, a similar battle between the 1989 singer and Katy Perry might have reached its ceasefire.

According to The New York Times, Perry has invited Swift to dinner...sort of. The "Unconditional" singer, who isn't attending Monday night's (February 15) Grammy Awards, is nevertheless planning a pre-ceremony dinner for music's "creators," and noted that T. Swift has received an invitation — attendance is "just up to [her] schedule."

Still, once the ceremony starts, Perry's got a different plan:

"In my pajamas, eating matzo ball soup. No makeup, glad I’m not in a corset. Vicks cream on."

Enviable.

And though Perry, herself, has been nominated for 13 Grammys, she's yet to get her hands on a prize, but said the honor isn't necessarily her standard of success.

"The only thing that is on my mind when creating music is being authentic and vulnerable and making sure that it connects," she said. "And I know that it does connect because numbers don’t lie."

And as for her next album, and another attempt at Grammy-greatness? She's taking her time.

"I’m in the research and development phase," she noted. "I’ve been going at it for eight or nine years in the spotlight, and then before that there’s that decade of hustle that never gets recognized but still shows up in your wrinkles. So right now I’m taking a little time. I don’t want to jump on any trends. I just need to evolve."
