After her hit song "Die Young" got dropped from radio stations from coast to coast in the wake of the Newtown, CT school shooting tragedy, singer Kesha voiced her concerns about the song on Twitter.

She tweeted, "i understand. I had my very own issue with 'die young' for this reason. I did NOT want to sing those lyrics and I was FORCED TO."

Interestingly enough, she is credited as a co-writer along with fun's Nate Reuss, and producers Dr Luke, Cirkut and Benny Blanco.

She deleted the tweet shortly afterwards, but came back to address the Connecticut tragedy more directly:

Kesha's label, RCA, had no comment.
