There's something very cool happening at Earnest's this weekend and it involves molecular gastronomy.

This Saturday night is date night! Why not head over to Earnest's Orleans Restaurant and learn how to make delicious food in a cool way?

SciPort's Science on the Rocks is putting on a molecular gastronomy cooking class. It will be taught by Chef Ryan Gillespie who is one of two chefs in the SBC who has been trained in molecular gastronomy.

So what exactly is molecular gastronomy?

It's cooking with science. You may have seen chefs on Food Network make ice cream with liquid Nitrogen. It's that kind of cool stuff. Plus, you'll get to sample some of the dishes these chefs make.

The event will be from 7 until 9 p.m. You must be 21 or older to attend and tickets are $25. What a great date night?!
