Louisiana Dance Collective is at it again with the debut of their new video for "Did You Miss Me (I'm a Veronica)."

I was first introduced to Louisiana Dance Collective at "DigiFest South" when Crystal Method took over the Red River Entertainment District. I instantly fell in love with their talent and the fact that they are living a life I have always fantasized about.

Now, they have put out a new video for The Veronicas' "Did You Miss Me (I'm a Veronica)." According to Emily Smith, the video is a loose adaptation of the 1980s movie, "Heathers." The choreography is flirty and powerful, and the production by Chris Lyon is superb. I think you'll love it just as much as I do.

I can't wait to see what's next for LADC.

Louisiana Dance Collective is a new dance ensemble in the Shreveport-Bossier area with big dreams. Born out of the minds of post-college dancers looking for a place keep up their skills, they offer up quality technique classes for experienced dancers ages 17 and over. They're bringing together professionals of all backgrounds, styles, and genres as they build a new, innovative dance company. Their mission is to contribute to the culture and creative community in northwest Louisiana while collaborating with as many artists as possible along the way.

They've already worked with local nonprofits, festivals, filmmakers, and musicians to create original choreography, movement pieces, and interactive audience experiences. The LADC dancers have performed at events such as the Red River Revel, Digifest South, Grinched, and the Marlene Yu Museum opening. In the coming years they hope to grow the number of dancers in their company, become a part of the creative community, and prove to young dancers in the area that it is possible to have a thriving dance career in Shreveport-Bossier.
