Louisiana Man Pulled Over for Expired Plates… From 1997

And he had the perfect procrastinator answer...

I'll admit, I'm a procrastinator and many things, like cleaning the house. I can come up with a million reasons to just not get to that today. And my go-to excuse is simply "I'm too busy." So please know that this is the pot (me) calling the kettle black.

A man in Slidell was pulled over in February because his license plates looked... off.

As it turns out the plates themselves were over 20 years old and the tags on them were from 1997. That would mean this person had not registered his vehicle in 23 years.

The best part is the response this man gave the officer when he was asked what happened. Officers say this man simply said "Sorry, officer. I've been busy lately and totally forgot to renew my vehicle registration. I will take care of it as soon as I get home!" Classic procrastinator response, right?
