Louisiana Music Prize Accepting Submissions Friday at Bears

This year's Louisiana Music Prize is going to be bigger than ever. Here's how you can make sure you're a part of it all.

Louisiana Music Prize is traditionally the kickoff to Louisiana Film Prize's festival weekend. This year, the prize is one you don't want to miss out on.

The winner of Louisiana Music Prize will receive $5,000 cash, a recording session at Blade Studios (valued at $13,000), and a $250 stipend for the Finals.

To enter yourself or your band, join Louisiana Music Prize for their 2014 kickoff at Bears on Fairfield. The party starts at 8 p.m.

It's also free and open to the public so bring your fan club.

The Louisiana Music Prize Finals will be held at Voodoo on October 9 at 7 p.m. It's the kickoff to Louisiana Film Prize's festival which means you'll get plenty of exposure to the SBC community.
