LSU Set to Wear Color Changing Helmets This Saturday [VIDEO]

LSU fans... Get ready because you're in for a treat this weekend.

Love them or hate them, no college football fan in America can deny the fact that LSU has some of the greatest uniforms in the land. There's just something so special about that purple and gold.

This weekend, we're gonna get a little taste of both.

Ahead of their match up with Mississippi State, LSU announced they will be wearing special uniforms to honor the 1918 "silent season" and the 30 members of the LSU family and the "unknown" soldier who gave the ultimate sacrifice during World War 1.

The uniforms, which feature special trim all the way around, feature a true crown jewel on top. The helmet this weekend will look purple at times, and gold during others, depending on which way the light hits it.
