MADTV has found a new home.

After a nine-year absence, The CW announced Monday that it has ordered eight episodes of the former late-night comedy sketch show to air during primetime.

The network aired a 20th anniversary special in January which featured appearances by former MADTV castmembers including Alex Borstein, Will Sasso, Keegan-Michael Key, Michael McDonald and Mo Collins.

MADTV originally aired on Fox late nights, opposite NBC's Saturday Night Live, from 1995 to 2009.

The MADTV reboot will feature appearances from former castmembers whose names will be announced soon.
