Actress Melissa McCarthy wants the world to know that her new clothing line is designed to appeal to all women, and says she has an issue with the term "plus-size".

"Women come in all sizes," she said in an interview with Refinery 29. "Seventy percent of women in the United States are a size 14 or above, and that's technically plus-size, so you're taking your biggest category of people and telling them, 'You're not really worthy.' I find that very strange."

She added, "I just think, if you're going to make women's clothing, make women's clothing. Designers that put everyone in categories are over-complicating something that should be easy."

McCarthy's new clothing line will feature a wide range of pieces and sizes (ranging from 4 to 28), all priced at or under $150.

She's also currently at work on the new Ghostbusters movie, along with Saturday Night Live castmembers Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.
