Business Insider researched various realty websites, including Sotheby’s International Realty and Zillow, to compile a comprehensive list of the most expensive houses for sale in each state.
The priciest homes in the US list features a Slidell, La. property selling for $5.46 million. From least expensive to most expensive, the home ranks no. 44 on the overall list.
