My Last Few Days of Meat
I never thought I would go through with this idea, but it is actually happening. I am giving up meat for my new year resolution.
The reason I want to do this is because I want to feel healthier and live healthier.
My older brother went full vegetarian his senior year in high school and dropped tons of weight. He was a defensive lineman since he started playing football in middle school. He was a large guy and could hit with a punch. In his junior year he ruptured two disks in his back power lifting. He wasn't able to play football after that. So he decided to do a lifestyle change.
I am ready for a change. I am ready to not only put myself up for the challenge of cutting out meat from my diet, but to stick to something that I know will be challenging. That is why I am giving up burgers, chopped beef sandwiches, and chicken fried steak. I am seriously getting hungry just typing the word meat. However, I am pushing that craving to the back of my brain.
Starting January 1st I will become a vegetarian. #blessmyheart
