If you've been wondering about the 'Nefertiti Neck Lift,' we've got details on what it is, how it works, and where you can get one in Shreveport-Bossier City, LA.

Who was Nefertiti?

Nefertiti was the Queen of Egypt and the wife of King Akhenaton in the 14th century. She's known for moving her country from a polytheistic religion to a monotheistic religion, worshipping the sun god, Alton. In depictions of Nefertiti, she always has a long, slim neck.

What is a Nefertiti Neck Lift or Nefertiti Lift?

A Nefertiti Neck Lift is considered minimally invasive and uses Botox infections along the neck and jawlines of patients trying to achieve a 'lift' in that area. Many believe the procedure helps to reverse the appearance of aging in your lower face, jaw, and neck. Botox reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles creating a longer, thinner-looking neck. Like any other procedure using Botox, the results are not permanent but can be expected to last anywhere from 3 - 6 months.

Where can you get the Nefertiti Neck Lift in Shreveport-Bossier City, LA?

I found several clinics that perform neck lifts in our area including The Wall Center for Plastic Surgery, Dr. Kenneth Sanders, and at Dermatology and Skin Surgery. However, they don't do that exact Nefertiti Neck Lift procedure. Some offer a surgical lift, while others will inject the Platysmal bands on the neck for similar results. According to what I've found online, the cost for the procedure runs about $800.

I've recently been experiencing my own personal 'glow-up!' Check out my journey with The Look at Dermatology and Skin Surgery on Ellerbe Road in Shreveport.
