Nicki Minaj is known for her crazy antics but her performance at the 2012 Grammy Awards Sunday night was simply weird. We should have realized that something strange was going to happen when she graced the red carpet as Little Red Riding Hood. WTF?

Dubbed ‘The Exorcism of Roman,’ Minaj turned her Grammy performance into a mini-movie, recreating a scene from the 1973 cult horror classic ‘The Exorcist.’ In the clip, a priest is summoned to exorcise the demons out of Roman. We then see a blonde Minaj as Roman looking at herself in the mirror, repeatedly saying, “I feel pretty” and climbing up a wall. When the priest enters her bedroom, he asks, ‘What’s your name?” Minaj replies, “Roman!”

Lights cut on and the Grammy stage is transformed into a church cathedral. Minaj, dressed in a brown-colored ball gown, is shackled to a gurney as she performs her new track ‘Roman Holiday.’ The performance got even more weirder as Minaj raps in tongues while being surrounded by a bevy of dancing monks. Then, she is levitated to the rafters of the Staples Center on a platform — hidden under her dress — to simulate being possessed by the devil. Again, WTF?

Overall, Minaj performance was, uh, weird to say the least. All of those religious imagery and tomfoolery just didn’t excite us. It certainly wasn’t the most memorable performance of the night.

However, the good news is that Minaj’s song ‘Roman Holiday’ is currently available on iTunes. And that’s not all! Minaj will debut on Feb. 13 a brand new single called ‘Starships’ on the Ryan Seacrest Show.
