Nine Million Dollar Teddy Bear?

A 23-foot tall teddy bear will be at the epicenter of Manhattan next week. The massive yellow toy is actually a sculpture that will be on display for the month before being auctioned off on May 11th. The bear with button eyes sits slumped beneath a bedside lamp that can be lit up at night, adding to the sculpture’s appeal. According to Reuters, the current owner of this contemporary art piece has already turned down a private offer of nine-million dollars.
