Someone paid for the person's drink behind them in line at Starbucks. And then someone else did. And then someone else did. And then someone else did. For 11 hours.

According to the Huffington Post, people in Florida are very generous. At least the ones who went to Starbucks in St. Petersburg on Wednesday morning.

It all started when someone paid for the person behind them in the drive-through. That person then decided they too would "pay it forward." The next person did the same. And so on and so forth.

378 customers and nearly 11 hours later, the hot streak ended. One woman insisted on paying just for her own drink, or really, just taking the free one. The barista on duty at the time said the woman didn't seam to understand the concept.

It's not the first time something like this has happened. The location has seen it once before with 141 customers. And last year, a Starbucks in Connecticut had the caffeinated kindness last for several days and 1,468 customers.

Gosh, I would absolutely hate to be the person who ended it.
