Last night (Aug. 19) on 'The Tonight Show,' Jimmy Fallon kicked it way, way back. So far back, in fact, that we began to reminisce about our childhood and when we played the James Bond GoldenEye 007 video game. Since the late night host had former 'Bond' star Pierce Brosnan in the studio, he figured the two should go head-to-head in a round of the game -- in front of the studio audience!

"I was no good at it," Pierce recalled. "I played it once and shot myself in the foot."

But the actor gamely agreed to give the game a go, leading Jimmy to exclaim, "I'm very excited about this. You don't understand!"

After quickly running through the controller commands with Pierce, Jimmy quipped (in a British accent, no less!), "Good luck, Mr. Bond."

We'll be honest -- Pierce may have had the suave Mr. Bond moves down when he starred as the iconic spy, but the video game ... Not so much. However, he gets major points for holding his own with a good sense of humor while he played against Jimmy.

Watch Jimmy and Pierce play GoldenEye 007 in the video above!
