Attention, Walmart shoppers in Kodiak, Alaska! Pitbull is coming your way!

It all started a few weeks ago when Walmart began running a marketing contest on its Facebook page. The store with the most "likes" wins an appearance from Pitbull.

This prompted a writer from the Boston Phoenix newspaper to send the rapper to the most remote, out-of-the-way Walmart possible: in Kodiak, Alaska! The plan succeeded, with the store receiving more than 70,000 "likes".

Walmart says they are still working the details of Pitbull's visit, but it should happen by the end of the month.

A spokeswoman for Walmart says employees will have plenty of bear repellent for his visit.
