Tragic news today as a Malaysia Airlines jet carrying nearly 300 people crashed near the Russia-Ukraine border. That's why this prank caller really ticked me off.

It's still unclear as to what caused the jet to crash. Ukrainian officials claim that the plane was shot down by pro-Russian rebels. Russia has denied any involvement or knowledge.

No matter how it happened, it is a horrible situation and our thoughts & prayers go out to all involved. Click HERE for more details on the crash.

I can remember 3 separate occasions where I was tuned into CNN or NBC and heard a prank caller. That's the risk you take in live broadcasting. On all three occasions, it was one of Howard Stern's minions that prank news stations very regularly. Usually, they say something vulgar, BaBa Booey or a combination of both.

Most of the time, these antics aren't taken very seriously due to the non-important issue they are interrupting; it's rare that you get a Howard Stern prankster in the midst of important news. This guy went too far.

Nearly 300 people died today. Pure tragedy. For someone to go out of there way to ruin a newscast carrying important information & details that thousands of people are tuned in to see really makes me upset. I just can't wrap my mind around how someone could dial that number, knowing they would throw the show completely off the rails.

How does it make you feel? Here's the video.
