President Calls Kanye A “Jackass” Again

Two years after Kanye West hijacked Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, President Obama took another opportunity to take a potshot at the rapper.In a story about West appearing in The Atlantic, the article's writer, David Samuels, asked the President if he preferred West or Jay-Z. Guess who he chose!

The President again called West a "jackass" but did go on to say is also "smart" and "very talented".

Obama first infamously dissed West in 2009 in an interview with CNBC shortly after the Taylor Swift incident where he said, "The young lady seems like a perfectly nice person. She's getting her award. What's he doing up there? He's a jackass."
