Raising Cane's is putting their tasty chicken fingers to good use again as they host their own Kidd's Kids Day on Wednesday, September 3rd.

Raising Cane's was founded in Louisiana and with that comes Southern hospitality and the desire to help others. That's why they're hosting their own Kidd's Kids Day on Wednesday, September 3rd.

Of all of the proceeds made on that day, Raising Cane's will donate 15% of that to Kidd's Kids.

Kids Kidd's was started by Kidd Kraddick of the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show before his passing in 2013. The program grants chronically and terminally ill kids and their families the wish of a family vacation. The show's cast takes the families on an all-expenses-paid trip to Walt Disney World.

Dine or make a donation at a participating Raising Cane's to help out. Here's a list of locations:

Raising Cane's - 1046 Kings Highway in Shreveport; Jess will be there 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Raising Cane's - 7241 Youree Drive in Shreveport; Jay will be there 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

For Third Year, Raising Cane’s To Serve As Sole National Collection Partner for Kidd’s Kids Day Donations

Nearly 100 Raising Cane’s restaurants across country will raise funds Sept. 3

DALLAS (August 27, 2014) – Once again, The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show will be dedicating its entire four-hour program on Wednesday, September 3, to raising funds for the annual Kidd’s Kids trip to Walt Disney World.

And for the third consecutive year, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers will be the exclusive physical collection point nationwide for donations on Kidd’s Kids Day. On September 3, Raising Cane’s customers will have the opportunity to make a donation in any amount to Kidd’s Kids at the register (no purchase necessary).  These donations will be added to 15% of net proceeds from sales made on Kidd’s Kids Day at nearly 100 participating Cane’s restaurants nationwide.

“Kidd’s Kids is an extraordinary legacy of the legendary Kidd Kraddick and my Crewmembers and I are proud to do our part to help the many wonderful children and families served by the charity,” said Todd Graves, founder and CEO of Raising Cane’s. “We hope every Caniac, and every fan of the show, will drop by their nearest participating Cane’s and give generously. Let’s make this year’s Kidd’s Kids Day the most successful ever.”
Thanks to the on-going generosity of listeners and corporate partners, the charity is taking the largest group of Kidd’s Kids to date on this year’s “vacation of a lifetime.” During the five-day trip, scheduled for November 20-24, the Kidd’s Kids and their families will enjoy all the excitement that a Walt Disney World getaway can offer.

Children selected for the trip are between the ages of 5-12 years old, suffer from a life-threatening illness, demonstrate a financial need and reside in one of the 65-plus markets in which the nationally syndicated Kidd Kraddick Morning Show airs.

Kidd’s Kids Day is the most recent major initiative Raising Cane’s has undertaken for the charity.  Last year, Cane’s sponsored the first-ever “Concert for Kidd’s Kids” at the Dallas House of Blues, headlined by the Jonas Brothers. And on June 25, every past and current Kidd’s Kid, and their immediate family, was invited to eat free at Raising Cane’s on the third annual Kidd’s Kids Dine-in Day. Raising Cane’s has donated more than $150,000 to the Kraddick Foundation since 2012.

“My love affair with Raising Cane’s remains as strong as ever, and it has everything to do with their incredible generosity to Kidd’s Kids and so many other worthy causes,” said Kellie Rasberry, co-host of The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show, the most-listened-to contemporary morning show in America. “Of course I can’t get enough those delicious chicken fingers and Cane’s sauce, but it’s Todd and his wonderful people that I really love most.”

Kidd’s Kids Day donations may also be made online through the Kidd’s Kids website, www.KiddsKids.com, or www.KiddsKids.com/Mobile (for smartphones), through the Southwest Airlines Kidd’s Kids Day Donation Hotline (888) 792-5439/ (888) SWA-KIDZ from 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM (CST), or by texting “KIDD” to “52000” to donate $10.
