'Real Housewives' Husband Sentenced to 8 Years in Prison

It wouldn't be the first time we've seen this "Real Housewives" husband on go to jail. Thanks to snitching, he'll serve a much shorten sentence.

I've always wondered how people who supposedly have ample amounts of money, can't seem to master their finances. Maybe it's a feeling of being "above the law"?

According to TMZ, Apollo Nida, who is seen on "Real Housewives of Atlanta", has been sentenced to eight years in prison for a money fraud scheme. The maximum sentence for his crimes is 30 years. The site claims his sentence was shortened because he turned himself in, as well as telling authorities secrets of the trade.

Yeah, he lucked out.

The husband of Phaedra Parks, Nida is headed to federal prison for cashing stolen checks and for laundering over $2.3 million into fake bank accounts.
