Reason No. 1 Why You Need to See Ed Sheeran Live in Concert… There’s No Band [PHOTOS]

Ed Sheeran is the very definition of a "one-man band."

I had the chance to see Ed Sheeran at his show in Frisco, Texas over the long holiday weekend and I was absolutely blown away. The man is so super talented and it's just him.

Yep, only Ed... No band.

He prefaced the show with a story about a Canadian couple who demanded to get their money back after seeing one of his shows because they said the entire thing was prerecorded. They were oh so wrong. Ed then explained that everything is done by him with a looping mechanism on stage. He would play the first few chords of a song and loop them, then get a beat going by banging the body of the guitar and loop that, then get a few more chords to loop, and then sing.

It's was phenomenal!

Plus, he really got into the spirit of Texas with a Cowboy hat. After putting it on the entire arena exploded in applause.

The entire show was amazing. He had Jamie Lawson (his first signee to his Gingerbread Man Records) and Christina Perri open for him. We missed Jamie because we were doing meet and greets with Ed. I know, please pity me. Christina was incredible though.

Of course, I also met up with our meet and greet winners, Colby and Macy. They were super excited to meet Ed... Like on the brink of tears. I made them take a picture with me first, you know, before they forgot who I was.

They did find me after and we took a post-Ed photo. I love that they brought their Photoshop photos of Ed to have signed. This of course was a part of our contest to win meet and greets with Ed.
