It’s ‘You Da One’ like you’ve never heard it before! A cappella group Pentatonix, the winners of the most recent season of NBC’s ‘The Sing-Off,’ give the Rihanna song a lively new interpretation in a video posted on the group’s YouTube page.

Minus its instruments, ‘You Da One’ doesn’t sound much like RiRi’s reggae-influenced version, but it’s hard not to be impressed by the harmonies and creativity of the singers — especially since Pentatonix recorded their cover live with no edits. ‘You Da One’ was the second single from Rihanna’s ‘Talk That Talk’ album and reached No. 14 on the singles chart.

The Arlington, Texas five-piece captured the ‘Sing-Off’ title last fall with creative covers of tracks by Kesha, Kanye West, Katy Perry, Florence + the Machine and more. They won the crown with a final rendition of Survivor’s ‘Eye of the Tiger.’

Pentatonix are in the process of recording a full album, and they’re not sticking just to covers. They tweeted this week:
